Mom and Ali are here to visit, and we decided to drive some of the Parkway today!  We headed toward Blowing Rock first, and hit the Parkway just before Boone to get there.  Unfortunately the detour southbound took us right back into Boone.. lol.... but we eventually got to Blowing Rock.  It was sooo crowded, not ONE parking space in sight, and bumper to bumper traffic!  We very quickly lost interest and left without parking at all. We decided to take the first day of skiing at Beech Mtn, Ski Resort since they had the best prices on ski school.  The resort was great but lots of people since it was a Holiday weekend and it was a warm winter so the snow was all man made.  Also they only had a few slopes open to it made it kind of crowded.  Didn't get to see too much of the girls since the instructor had them on the bunny slop but that was ok they where haveing a good time and we could see them every now and …
