'Hot spring showers' Nov 27, 2012
Banjar hot spring is the most famous hot springs on the island of Bali. The hot spring is located in the village of Banjar, Buleleng, Bali. Located 25 km Southwest of Singaraja City, 80 km Northeast of Denpasar City and is not far from the famous Northern beach of Lovina.

These hot springs get very crowded by tourists both local and foreign. This location is another favorite destination for tourists to enjoy the serenity of Bali, with the added bonus of being able to take a shower or simply soak in the hot pool springs.

Bathing in the hot springs of Banjar consists of 3 parts. The first pond at the top has 8 places to take showers, with spring water coming out of a dragons mouth. Then the first of the pools has a width of 1.5 meters with a length of approximately 12 meters and a depth of 1 meter. The second pool is the largest pool with a width of about 10 meters long and the length is the same as the first but the depth increases from closest to the showers is 1 meter, sloping to 2 meters deep at the furthest end, spring water cascades down from shower dragon fruit figure heads pool to pool. The second pool is a pool that is most widely used by the visitors. The third pond or pool has just 3 dragon showers coming from a height of 3.5 meters, in this pool it’s mainly utilized by many visitors to enjoy a massage because of the power that the water falls from the dragon heads.

As well as the general hot water baths and hot spring showers, the properties of Banjar water is also useful for treating skin diseases, so after your time soaking in the hot springs your body will feel cleansed and fresher, and the mind will feel good and relaxed, so ready to take on the next activity that Bali has to offer.

An Entrance fee to the hot springs of Banjar is around IDR 5.000/person and IDR 3.000 for children, a very reasonable price to be in such a beautiful atmosphere. These heated pools are open every day starting at 08:00 to 18:00 pm. After soaking in hot waters and enjoying spa therapy, makes for a very enjoyable holiday here in Bali.
