For the visitors going to Gombe and passing through Kigoma, a place that you must stop by is the Bangwe Beach Bar.
Not too far from the Executive Pub and the UN compound, this bar is in my opinion the best place for a drink at sunset! It’s on the beach and it's also one of the best spot (after hilltop hotel) to see amazing sunsets! We go there usually on week days as it is a really nice place to grab a beer after a day of work… However, on weekends the whole place is transformed to a big beach party club for the youth... so it really depends on what you like, I prefer to watch my sunset quietly and enjoy the orange colors reflecting on the water:-)! |
