Our first hotel (Centre Point, Sukhmvit) was awesome - cheers to the Police Association for that! our 2nd hotel is not so flash - but it has a wicked pool to cool off in.

I was staying this time at the Pathumwan Princess hotel right next to the famous MBK shopping centre at Siam. I chose this hotel purely for the convenience of my highly anticipated shopping trips along Sukhumvit Road. After settling back into the frenetic pace of Bangkok and the oh so unbelievable traffic… Back to Bangkok |

For Lisa's birthday I had booked a couple of nights in a
swanky hotel more in the centre of Bangkok. Given that it was such a reasonable
price, we were very impressed with it, by far the best place either of us had
ever stayed! Their obsession with blue neon created the 'wow factor', and it
had the most… Scams, elephants, cabbages and condoms |

Saturday was spent looking around the shopping centres close to our hotel and the evening was spent watching the football (somethings never change!) I cant really complain though as this is the first country we have been in where the time difference allows us to watch english football live and poor Russell… Babies while in Bangkok |
