Banaue View Inn Sagada Reviews
Home Away from Home Oct 17, 2011
If you are looking for a cozy space in a freezing cold place, then Sagada Homestay is right for you. This place is run by a welcoming family, so you can feel the vibe of a typical Filipino Family. Mrs. Karen Fiar-od is very nice and motherly that she would ask you about your experiences after visiting Sagada's beautiful sites. She would even recommend places to visit and can contact tour guides.
I love the warm atmosphere of the place, almost all the things inside are made of wood. I felt that I stayed in a museum of wood cravings. It is well kept and so clean! The rooms are simple and neat. However, bathrooms are shared but you can't say its not well maintained. Heaters are available in all bathrooms as well.
The good thing about this place is that, even if its a family house, you don't have a curfew. Moreover, things are shared from entertainment to kitchen wares, they allow you to cook too!If you are lucky, there is a chance to share breakfast together with the other tourist staying in the place. A good chitchat in the morning is a good start, right? Plus, by befriending others, you have the chance to join on their tours. In that way, all of you will pay less for the expenses of the trip and the tour guide. It only means that you gained new friends and cheap tours!
If you want to relax in the evening, the best thing you can do is to hang out together with the owner and the rest of the family in the living room. Watch T.V. with them and have chitchats!
