The Bamboo Grill is a personal favorite of mine. Good food and a fun atmosphere. The place is themed on Hawaii and since I go to Maui about every other year, I love being reminded of my trips there. I go to this place about two or three times a month for breakfast and occasionally in the evening for dinner or drinks. They have good food at reasonable prices…what I would consider cheap. The place is located right on Alki Beach, so if you’re sitting at one of the front tables, there is usually a nice view out the window. The bar is small but stocked decently, but this is not really where I would go specifically for drinks.

Although it’s definitely not a sports bar, they have various strategically placed TVs if you have trouble carrying on a conversation. If you go for breakfast and you aren’t afraid of meat, I recommend the Bamboo Scramble! If you’re there for dinner, I really recommend the Pork Chops. Overall, this is a fun place, casual dress, reasonably priced and nice location.
