After resting in the hostel in DC, I would take the 1-hour train ride to Baltimore, to attend a baseball game at Oriole Park in Camden Yards. This is the first time that I've actually done something in the city of Baltimore. I've only stopped by this city, whenever the Greyhound bus makes a layov…

We didn't do much here, mainly went to the aquarium and that was it! The aquarium was nice though, I always like those. We had dinner with one of Kevin's sisters.

This was only going to be about my trip to Europe, but my entire month of August is so sporadic, I decided to add it too. I'm moving from Austin to Baltimore for grad school, so I'm visiting friends and family first, then heading to Europe, and closing out with a security conference in Chicago.

Baltimore Maryland
posted by:
Jul 04, 2008 – Aug 04, 2008
This stop was just to say I have been to Maryland. I pulled over to take a few photos. While at the side of the road, a 'professional' woman left her apartment to go to work, while her little boy said goodbye to her. I kept wondering if he knew where she worked. I guess it's better than being homel…

The Day in Baltimore
posted by:
Jun 05, 2008 – Jun 11, 2008
Today we finally had a day not devoted to travelling or seeing family. Awesome! We started Baltimore with the Hard Rock Cafe, as this is the HRC East Coast Tour 2008. We had to go back later in the day because we didn't want to spend all of the aquarium money, but we got an idea of what we want…

I woke up at 5, fell back asleep for an hour, and then got up just after 6.  Finished packing, double (and triple) checked that I had the tickets and got a simple breakfast.  By 7 Kim was ready to drive me up to BWI.  Traffic was light overall, and the route is familiar by now. …

Baltimore, been there alot.  Couldn't stay at my favorite Rennisance Harbor Place hotel, tighter budget with this company.  However I did get a steal of a deal at the Peabody downtown which was actually a much nicer room, just a bit farther from the action of the inner harbor.  Prett…

Our 3200m relays ran strong; the girls had a great time and the boys placed fourth.  BM just barely missed finals of the shot put.  MO did not run as well in the girls' 3200 as she wanted but did not collapse, a relief to all of us after watching the end of her race.  Another gi…
