This trip essentially began with a week in beautiful Sydney, Australia.
I wasn't sure of my itinerary, but I did pick up a Vietnamese Visa in Sydney, so after a few days visiting friends in Perth, I headed that way from down under.
After Vietnam, I revisited Bangkok and Frankfurt to complete my Round the world adventure!

Ah Baltimore... a city trying very hard to break free of it's imagine on tv shows like Homicide or The Wire. Well worth a weekend visit with some very quirky neighborhoods and a redeveloped inner harbor. Best to visit with someone who knows the city, it's real charm is in the quirky neighborhoods that are beyond the touristy inner harbor.

Passing through the city, you get a feel that it is industrial in nature but has an alternative side. Being so close to DC has its benefits...but not for traffic's sake.
