Well, I really can't write about all these other places in the world without promoting MY fine state can I? Baltimore: "Charm City' is a secret gem of a place to visit, and to live. It was crap in the 1970's, but has risen above to become a great destination. Since I fly, I'll show you much of the state from the air AND the ground. Enjoy. Travelogue in-progess.

There isn't much we do in Baltimore city. When we do things it, it is usually on vacation, or when we go to New York. We may do an ocassional thing locally, but it is not often we travel to Baltimore City. Yet, we often find ourselves in Baltimore City when they have the Artscape festival. Finally, it was time to go home.  It had been a good trip, and it had been great to see so many friends and family members; but I was ready for my own bed and my own house.  I flew out of BWI, and headed back to Phoenix.

So not only did we leave late but Brandon and I stopped off at Eat 'n Park... a family restaurant in Pennsylvania to get my sister, my friends in New York and my friends in Orlando some cookies that aren't too good -they're like a short bread sugar cookie (neither of which I like)- but they like the nostalgia of them.  Which in turn made us even later than what I was expecting. I grew up near Boston and the only aqurium I ever visited was the New England Aquarium.  I was excited to lear baltimore had and Aquarium because I love marine life and to look at all the different animals and all the different colored fish and birds.  They have an Atrium as well wich is cool because well like I said I like to see all the different kinds of birds.  So we left early one morning and drove into Baltimore and we found a place to park and started walking around and ...

Baltimore... what a frustrating trip! A friend told me before I went that I would go, and then I'd be mad at myself, because I didn't have enough time to do everything. And that's pretty much exactly what happened. Living in Baltimore can be boring and depressing. However, Baltimore city has at least a nice tourist site, Inner Harbor, to enjoy. Also, Sherwood garden is always welcome to the public. It is hidden in the rich community, it is accessible though. The best time to visit the Sherwood garden is around April and early May. It is fulled of different kinds of tulips.

Every year, my neighborhood (Hampden) has several large festivals but the largest and most outrageous is definitely Honfest.If you've ever seen John Waters' Hairspray, you might have a slight idea of what to expect... This was our seven day family vacation to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. There were 17 of us shairing a large house very close to the beach. Crazy stuff, good times, and lots of sun!!
