An excellent choice for budget style accommodation in Central Riga. KM10/08 The batlhostel is located on the 4th and 5th floors of a large traditional building typical of the architecture in Riga. Balthostel has a prime location on the edge of the old town. All of Riga's places of interest are within easy walking distance. The hostel is situated just 100m from Riga's bus and train stations and one of Riga's largest department stores, the national opera and has excellent road links in/out of Riga.

Latvia was amazing!! It was freezing but it was good. There was a little pizzeria near where we stayed in Hotel Riga and it was overpriced but nice. :D I would tell anyone to go here! There was no christmas markets which i was disapointed about. :D …… Latvia |

Just took it easy today.. Just 5beers at the hostel , 2beers at the club and 3more beers back at the hostel. Just wanted to go to bed early ,but its like 5AM so its not so early.. but its earlier than Tallinn last night! Im on the right track.. Pict…… Night out in Riga |

I got up early (1030 ha) to take the train to Jurmala, a well-known small coastal town. Getting a ticket was a challenge, since since all of the signs were in Latvian, and the ticket agent didn't speak English. I said to the agent, "Jurmala." But sh…… March 6 |
