Balmer's is a hostel located in the city of Interlaken. Everything is withing walking distance (shopping, restaurants, Hooters, casino, ski shops, etc). Very affordable. It is a hostel after all so it's pretty much just a place to rest your head after a long day on the slopes. One of the best clubs in town called Metro is located downstairs of the hostel so you don't have far to go to party.

I told him I was looking for Balmers Hostel. He knew it and generously offered to drive me there. I had read that Balmers never turned anyone away. I have no idea how many beds it has but it may be that they don't actually know themselves. I booked… Party town between the lakes |

i was put into a 8 person tent at balmer's tent village - instead of their main hostel. basically there's two hostels, balmer's and funny farm, and they have a monopoly over the town it seems - they both own their own adventure sport companies and offer their services through the hostel as well… Interlaken |

We all took a big picture in front of Balmer's with everyone at the hostel... and then the games began. There was an obstacle course that they had set up where you had to army crawl under 3 lawn chairs, run to a bat and spin yourself around it 5 times, stick handle… Finally Interlaken... Hangliding, White Water Rafting, Canyoning!! |

We're staying at a hostel (Balmers) that's known as being the place to be to party and it's also a jumping off point for all the extreme sports. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that I can go rafting or hangliding. Who knows.. Ev and I are keeping… It still rains in Europe |

We did this at Metro Club, Balmers in Inerlaken. My 4 best friends and i (the Schneggis called) went there togheter to celebrate this special moment=)! Since we wanted to have a special new year and go to London for it, which then didnt work out, we just wanted to do something… New Years Eve at Metro |
