The Balmacara Hotel is situated on the shores of Loch Alsh, approximately 3 miles from Kyle of Lochalsh and the gateway to the Isle of Skye. Most of the bedroom windows frame views of Loch Alsh, and in hotel restaurant the picture is larger but much the same. Faced with all this, the hotel developed its own hotelier's philosophy.
