A quick bite and furniture forsale?! Jul 19, 2009
Just north of Downtown, Safi Village is going thru a transformation. One of the new restaruants is Balima. It offers quick meals or just a drink. They also offer on the menu, the ability to purchase furniture in the restaurant. It's all contemporary and colorful and expensive. The food choices are salads, quiches, and even a hotdog.
I had a brocolli quiche and Rob had to try their hot dog. The foood was good for a snack and wasn't too expensive. The atmosphere is nice and the staff friendly. Part of the Middle East Mahem (Syria and Lebanon July 2009) travel blog |

Balima is a café and furniture store. You actually get to try out the furniture while you eat. The furniture is on the menu between the food selections. We both had fresh salads and had quiche. Rob couldn’t resist trying a hot dog. When… Beirut about town, a sunset on the water, and a tattoo. |
