Nicest dive operator I've ever known! May 01, 2008
If you're planning to dive in Bali, I suggest you go with Bali Scuba.
It has the service of 5 star diving operator. Bali Scuba will arrange your diving trip, makes you comfortable, safe, and welcome. They can arrange your hotel too, if you wish to stay with their recommended hotel, and sometimes they will give you discount (if you get lucky:D). If you stay in Kuta, Legian, and Sanur area, they will gladly pick you up for free! And for lunch, they will give you menu from hotel. Bali Scuba has it's own cafe for divers to hangout with free wifi. FYI, they have dive master who can speak German too. And for local diver, not to worry, most of the dive guide and dive master are local people from Malang:D I really recommend you to try:D Just log into their website or email them: letsdive@baliscuba.com Part of the Tulamben: Underwater playground for divers travel blog |

rental equipment, second I got special price staying at Sindhu Merta, a very good hotel located in front of Bali Scuba, and third because I met my friends down there in Tulamben. One of them… Tulamben: Underwater playground for divers |

We spent one full day getting to Tulamben and back to scuba dive - which was awesome because it was a 2 hour drive so we got to see a ton of the island on the way. We were the only people on the dive that day so we had the whole van to ourselves and we each… Bali, Indonesia |

I stayed in Sanur this time round, and dived with Bali Scuba. We set off to Tulamben. My dive buddy is Pierre from Greece, a fellow journalist who was there for a global environment conference, but as Greece was having a worker strike of some sort, he was free for the day. First dive at Tulamben… DIVING IN BALI |

There were plenty of activities going on if that’s what you were looking for: scuba lessons, volleyball on the beach, tennis, and even Bahasa language classes. Oh, and they also had their spa!
Around lunch time we decided to take the hotel’s shuttle into Kuta and see some sights, do some shopping, and have something to eat. Once… Day 6: Beautiful Bali! |
