The most unique restaurant in America… Apr 20, 2013
The restaurant located on the northern tip of Shelter Island. We came for lunch by boat.

Its Asian-inspired food features farm fresh ingredients with Hawaiian, Chinese and Japanese influences. Looking at this place, you'd think you were in a Honolulu resort with all the native plants and open space. Great place to take guests.

The interior design and décor includes Bali Hai’s collection of more than a hundred Polynesian artifacts – including tiki figures, antique tapa cloths, wood weapons, ocean charts, maps and native pictures – creating a museum-like space for guests to explore.

Spectacular views of the San Diego bay and the downtown skyline make this restaurant the perfect location for any special event. Along with a dining room upstairs, they have three different and versatile private rooms.

We were lucky enough to get a window seat without reservation.

Our server was super friendly and accommodating.

Definitely we will be back many times. Especilly would like to come for Sunday brunch.
