After finishing uni, I decided I needed to do something before I had to start working loads so my boyfriend and I booked a trip around eastern europe, starting in Croatia, and travelling through Bosnia, Hungary, Slovakia and finished in Czech Republic

An impromptu summary of some places and events in past 12 years

The train to Balaton took 6 hours and cost 35 euro.  The only reason to come to Balaton as a backpacker, i would guess, would be to fly out of the Ryan Air airport.  As we expected, once off the train, we discovered we where in the middle of nowhere.  There was no taxi cue, no inform…

Road trip around Hungary. We went down to the Ballaton and stayed by the Danube in Halazi. Visiting caves in aggtelek near Eger, known for its wines. They have a wine market place called the pretty lady valley, its name comes from te fact that after a few wines all the ladies look pretty... Beautiful culture to get to know,rich in history and the food is amazing! Known for their goulash, all their foods are rich in taste and the restaurants are so cheap with a huge variety on the menu!!!!

As I decided to go to an exchange program, I chose Hungary as my destination due to the numerous beauties that it offers such as the capital, Budapest (being the "Pearl of the Danube"), having 2000-year-old Roman ruins and 400-year-old Turkish monuments, Lake Balaton (being Central Europe's largest lake), also the rich Hungarian folk art and the horse shows which introduce the lifestyle and traditions of the "puszta" and of course, the legendary Hungarian hospitality:)...

Honestly Hungary wasnt ever in my wishlist to go...i just went there to visit a very close friend of mine...but once i arrived there..i realized that it should be in anyone who love travelling wishlist... its just a beatiful country..everyplace there is must to see...the people are so nice..and everything is organised and and clear.. and honestly...i dont know how to thank Kitti (viaggiatrice) for all what she did with me there...KOSZONOM so much Kitti...u r the Best:)
