Bailey's Range Saint Louis Reviews
Best Burgers in Town! Jun 10, 2013
I found Bailey's Range through a Google search. It is located in downtown St. Louis on Olive Street. Open seven days a week, Bailey's Range offers an extensive burger menu and features milkshakes and probably 100 sodas to choose from. There are at least a dozen burgers on the menu, but I decided to create my own, also an option. Choosing from the patty options of beef, bison, lamb, turkey, and veggie, I got the bison burger with pickles, grilled onions, and feta cheese on a pretzel bun with a diet Fitz's root beer, brewed and bottled right here in St. Louis. The meat was cooked perfectly and the pretzel bun was chewy. And the flavors of the pickles, onions, and feta melded well together. All in all, a pretty perfect burger experience, which cost me almost $15; a little expensive for just a burger and soda, but a nice treat.
I was a little confused upon arriving at Bailey's Range. There are these heavy dark turquoise curtains hanging in front of the entrance, almost making me believe the restaurant was closed, even though it was a half-hour after opening time. I did go through the curtain, and sure enough they were open.
The interior is a chic burger restaurant. A long wooden bar and a long wooden table are downstairs; upstairs are individual tables. Being by myself, I was sat at the long wooded table, overlooking the kitchen, which could be seen through eclectic window panes.
Overall, I was really pleased with dining at Bailey's Range, and I will definitely return!
