It was a great vacation for relaxing and just enjoying the time. My room was looking wonderful Mission bay.. I was there in winter but I'm sure this hotel is the best affordable one in the area with lots of activities from boat cruises and water activities to indoor pool and Mediterranean cafe.vIt's not very cheap but the room was great with a beautiful view.

I definitely recommend to explore San Diego and enjoy the beach at the same time...

The Bahia was advertised as a resort destination in San Diego, California. The rooms we stayed in were on par with a chain motel off of the interstate highway, but at the Hyatt price. The rooms were very clean, but lacked the modern appeal. Expect damp and noisy accommodations from this property right on Mission Bay, near a boating club. The sights and tourist destinations are all within minutes of the resort, and most of the rooms include a small refrigerator to keep drinks and food in. The room service staff was top notch, and the very large hot tub in the main pool area is an unexpected perk. I should also mention that the property owners maintain an active seal rescue program on site, which is located just outside the lobby. At the time of our visit there were two small seals in the pool which the staff feed twice a day.

The Bay Front Suite picture shows the ground floor, beware that you must call and REQUEST ground floor. I understood from reviews on Hotels.com that the room would be a little rundown but I figured if you could walk out onto the sand I could deal....read entire review at TravelPost.com

The worst experience, never going back Jul 19, 2006
We were there from July 14th to the 17th, 2006. Spend your money elsewhere.
