A modern concept of cafe Sep 16, 2009
On 13 September I metup with Dan (http://www.travbuddy.com/rotorhead85) and glad I have the chance to show him around Leiden, my hometown.
After a walk thru the city, we have our afternoon teabreak in Bagels and Beans. Bagels and Beans is a café with modern concept in traditional outlook. They came out with the unique bagels sandwiches, with variety of fillings you can choose from. Cream cheese, whether is natural, or with some flavor blend with it, Chives, Honey & walnut, Pesto & Sundried tomatoes, etc… You can choose from the Bagel special: Filling with Tuna salad, Carpacio, Cheese & Ham, etc… They serve breakfast special for about €5, which is a very good deal. There is even Spanish Tapas menu for 2 which is about €6. Another great thing in the menu, they have choices of freshly squeeze fruit juices. They serve different variety of cakes, muffins, cookies too.
