Baden is in Lower Austria and is the capital. It is a city located close to Vienna, approximately 14 miles to the south.
The town has thermal baths and spas. The existence of these baths influenced the development of the city, attracting wealthy individuals and families through centuries. There is a noticeable sulphur smell in the area surrounding the baths/spas.
Also, the mountains surrounding Baden are full of vineyards. There are a variety of wines available from this region. The Vienna Woods are also close by.
