Bad Blumau is an extremely small Austrian town located in the pleasant 'state'(bundesland) of Styria (Stiermark). The town is located only ~200km south from Vienna.

The town would probably go entirely unnoticed if it wasnt for the Rogner Therme & Spa Hotel. This is an internationally famous wellness resort. It's fame is due to the fact it was designed by Friedenreich Hundertwasser in his typical, unusual and highly artistic style.

Bad Blumau is a pleasant little town, and besides the Rogner Hotel, you can also choose to stay elsewhere in alternative accomodation and visit the Therme during the day.

There are also other interesting Wellness Resorts and sights within the region.

If you havent heard the name 'Hundertwasser' then you must read this! He was an inspirational and highly original Austrian born artist who sought to integrate his art and architecture with nature and saw outside most conventional ways of thinking. His work's are like something from a great fiction novel. Most noticeable is his architecture which can be found across Austria and around the world. A visit to these places is well worth it.
