Babble Mayfair Reviews
Good little find Aug 02, 2011
Whilst looking for Funky Budha club we walked past this place, as we had been searching for a while we paid the £5 entry fee (on a friday thats good) and went in.
We soon realised it was up market, people in business suits and fancy dresses, but we thought well, may as well have a few in here before we go on. We ended up staying till 3am as it ended up being a cool little club.
Very nicely decorated, private booths for hire, chandeliers etc. The drinks were more than we pay at home, but considering we were in mayfair they were reasonable. £4.50 for a bottle of Budweiser, £5 for a Bulmers, £4 for shots, and under £8 for very nice cocktails. The door staff were very helpful in telling us where to go next, but we just didn't bother moving. The music was a mix of old school r n b and later it moved to modern chart and dance. The age range was from about 26 upwards, we were 24 and were definitely the youngest.
The toilet staff were helpful (nicely decorated toilets by the way), i got a drink spilt down me and he dried my shirt for me as soon as he saw it.
When we left we realised why it was a bit smarter and more expensive, may have something to do with the car outside...2 aston martins, a ferrari, Lamborghini and a bunch of audis. But we had to settle for the night bus.
A good place to spend the night, or as intended, a stop off to the other bars or clubs in the area.
