Bab was hands down the best meal I had while I was in Korea. Seoul was my last stop and I had had several meals before finding Bab. It came highly recommended by my guesthouse owner as her favorite bibimbap restaurant, and WOW do they know their bibimbap. I intended to return to try their bulgolgi or something else but was unable to in the end. If you're in Seoul and find yourself in the Hongik University area, make it your business to find Bab. Incredibly fresh food, terrifically balanced flavors, lovely setting. You won't be disappointed.

Since I had an extra weekend to spend in Korea I decided not to spend it in Seoul. I've seen all the temples, palaces and pagodas that Seoul has to offer. So we took a train and headed south to Mokpo.
