Based out of Marbella, this was my only chance to enjoy a proper summer.

Apart from coming to grips as to the geographical location and history of Northern Ireland; this holiday was a holiday of interesting contrasts. The fresh remenants of civil war, the modernising youth, adventures country side and the home of the Titanic. We clocked up a lot of kilometres and in 4 days merely scratched the surface of potential that Northen Ireland has to offer.

Although there's been a lot of political issues recently, this place has some pretty cool attractions. We were there to play ice cricket. Yes, cricket on ice, and I believe it's the birth of the sport - and it's absolutely hilarious. Apart from the lame excuse to travel there, I found the old town to be very picturesque. The nightlife is also one of the best around. The people are also very friendly. You can pick up some pretty good antiques there too, especially stuff from the war.

Carnival in Den Bosch, Holland. Carnival, like in most other places around the world, is celebrated by dressing up in wierd outfits and consuming loads of alcohol. In the south of Holland it is no different except during the day are parades more focused on the younger crowd, and the older crowd wanting to be that young again. Great fun if you get into the atmosphere and don't take yourself too seriously.

September 2006. Climbed Kilimanjaro with 4 friends. Nothing like I had expected.

In September 2006, a group of us went to Tanzania on a 3 day safari. Went to Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Lake Maynara national parks. Enjoy the pics.
