BIXI bikes

Bixi Bikes in Montreal are a really good alternative to renting a expensive bike for an hour.
You can rent it at loads of biki locations (docking stations) over the whole city with a credit card. A 24hr access costs about $5 and as long as you dock the bike in every 30 min you wont pay more than $5 for 24hrs which is great to explore the city cause there are stations all over the city and at almost every subway station. You just have to swip your credit card again and the system remembers your card. (Its true, I was fist afraid that I'll pay 5$ every time but its really working).
The bikes are in a really good condition, the only thing you have to watch out for is, that you sometimes wont find a bike or a free spot at really popular places.

The most other bike rentals we've seen have been about a min of $8 per hour.
