Barcelona Airport is a medium size airport (8º European and the 35º World), that carries more than 30.000.000 Passangers a year.
Since few years ago, it only have 2 tracks(07/25 and 02/20), now have 3 but use mainly 2 (07R/25L and 07L/25R).
This summer will inagurate a new terminal: T-Sud that will double the capacity of the airport (to 70.000.000 passangers a year).
The main problem of this airport it's that because of Madrid Airport, we don't have so many Intercontinental Fligths, that's why we have to go to Madrid (for South America, Africa) or Central Europe(for Midle east and Asia) for intercontinental Flights:
Actually there are(I think):
Buenos Aires(Not daily)
It supose to open new lines to:
Middle east (Dubai?)
Well this are my advices:
-Web checkin or Auto-Checkin! Checkin desk are horrible, spend so much time and most of the workers are so unusefull( stupids?).
-Parking A (covered) 2º Floor, you only have to walk like 3 minutes and you arrive at the A Terminal (the older) directly to Security control (it's so fast not so much people), NEED ONLY 10 MINUTES FROM LEAVING THE CAR TO THE PLANE GATE!! (sometimes 15 if the gate is so far away ;) )
Even it's so big and new, I don't like the rrivals, they let you walk like 15 or 20 minutes...WTF!
