B&B Verona
B&B Verona Reviews
GREAT B&B Jul 10, 2009
I found this B&B on the website www.bed-and-breakfast.it and i wasn't too sure if this was ok but at least it wasn't as rediculous expensive as all the other hotels in the historical center. I paid 110 euro for a double room with breakfast. All the other hotels are way more expansive in the opera season of Verona. When we got here, i was afraid that my bad expectations came true because there was no sign outside and it didn't look good from the outside. But inside, the place looks great. The place has 3 rooms and our room looked great and had a lot of space. Of course it was airconditioned and when you looked out of the window, you could see the Arena! The bathroom was very nice and so was breakfast. We were the only guests that night and we could say what time we wanted to have breakfast. It was really well. We also got a card of the hotel with which we could park for free in the historical center. Next time i'll go to Verona, i won't hesitate and will book this hotel immediately.

B&B Coloniale " is a great place, and brand new despite the looks of the facade! Really, our room was big enough for a third person, the bathroom was modern and fashion and very quiet despite their location, near the oldtown centre… A city to love |

Next morning we enjoyed a relaxing breakfast at our b&b´s caffe, and started wandering this beautiful city. As all majors cities of Italy, Verona was made for walking without any particular direction, just to enjoy the narrow passages, looking up for little details at the balconys and find… A city to love (cont.) |

Our B&B wasn't too far from the train station so after dropping off the bag, the owners gave us a map and some places to see, we wandered into the small town. Verona is quite a busy little place, lots of people… Romeo, Romeo, Romeo... |

…the Juliet statue you get to make a wish, so of course we did thisThe perfumery is clearly just a 'sell stuff to Contiki people' kind of stop. Nothing too fascinating there
************Contiki Blurb: Antibes to Venice. We visit a French perfumery before entering Italy. Our first stop is Verona, the town of Romeo and Juliet, before heading for the magnificent city built on water, Venice. Contiki Village. (B,D) … Antibes to Verona - Juliet's statue |
