Azalai Hotel Independance Ouagadougou

Upon checking I asked and was told that breakfast was included in the price, so I ate breakfast. Every time I was asked to sign, I wrote it was free. Upon leaving I was told that there had been an error, and that I would not be permitted to leave unless I paid for all the breakfasts. The credit card took care of this, but clearly this "mistake" was premeditated. You are told to use something, then oops, you heard wrong and must absolutely pay. I also lost money from the room, which the management said they would inquire about. Nothing was done. Instead guards blocked me from leaving unless I paid.
The hotel is centrally located, but there are many others with better reputation.

The pool area is very nice and there is usually a live band at night.
