Ayers rock Vacation Guide
Ayers Rock(now formally known as Uluru) is the largest clean skin monolith in the world, and well known for its beauty and changing colours.
Uluru is located 485 kilometres from Alice Springs in central Australia. Closer to Uluru is the resort town of Yulara, (also know as Ayers Rock Resort) which is only 22 kilometres away, with a small population of only about 1000 residents. Even thou the town is quite small and remote, it has a vibrant atmosphere and night life. The resort is still very accessible from the rest of Australia due to the Airport close by, with direct daily flights to most of the state capital cities in the country.
There are several other sights worth seeing in the area as well. Close to Uluru there is Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), a picturesque rock formation. Further afar on one of the roads to Alice Springs is Kings Canyon which is another picturesque national park full of wildlife

Brian and I started off the day leaving from Alice Springs on a bus trip. We first stopped at St. George's. We were not able to get that close to it and I don't think anyone is allowed to climb it but not totally sure about that. Next we headed to The Olga's. They are a…
