Positioned directly on the beach, the European-style Avila Hotel on Curacao Island is within a short 5 minute drive of the historical capital city of Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Curacao is located in the southwestern Caribbean and is just 35 miles north of Venezuela and a two-and-one-half hour flight from Miami. Shopping in downtown Punda, the Curacao Museum and Maritime Museum are within one-half mile of the hotel.
