A good airline Mar 02, 2013
I arrived Bogota airport, terminal 1, where all Avianca's flights depart, ahead of time. I had checked in online, so bag drop was very quick.

With plenty of time, I stopped by my new favorite, Juan Valdez Cafe. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but this was good coffee. The caramel latte is particularly nice!

We left Bogotá on time and arrived Cartagena early.

I had heard good things about Avianca and was therefore excited. Must admit that I was a little disappointed when the inflight service only offed water, fruit juice and coffee on an 1:35 hour flight. I was dying for a coca cola and a snack.

My flight between Bogota and Cartagena was operated by an A320. An aricrafte which offered an entertainment system with films, TV programs, games and music. You had to ask for head phones. Each seat even had a USB plug.

The inflight magazine was surprisingly in Spanish only. Most of the announcements were made in both English and Spanish, but not all.

The crew was friendly and the plane new and clean. I would definitely fly Avianca again.
