Aventura Spa Palace Hotel Playa del Carmen

Aventura was great but not the thing for me. This is an all-inclusive resort, food, drinks, tours, 24 hour room service, everything. The scenery is fabulous. The people are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. The place is filled with honeymooners and group travelers alike. Night life is more abundant in the South Lobby while the Spa is located in the North Lobby. Rooms are nice with in room 2-person Jacuzzis, the balconies have hammocks, the showers are huge. The mini bar is well stocked with beer and water and it's also included. There is even a liquor dispensor in the rooms. The best restaurant on the property is the Mexican restaurant located in the South Lobby. Delicious and we were serinaded by a Mariachi band. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing, no-worries vacation. However if you are hoping to get a true taste of Mexico, this is not it. Mexico is not resorts and free cocktails. It's vibrant colors and street peddelers. It's painted pottery, hammocks and Maya culture.
