Fully Furnished Residences Jun 14, 2012
Now this is not something you want to pay for unless you can afford it and will be staying at least 3 months or more. My husband of course works for the Federal government so they are paying for our stay here during his 3 month assignment. I was shocked by the 2 bedroom residence we are living in. the master bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower and walk-in closet. A living room area, dinning and fully furnished Kitchen. My daughter has her own bedroom with a walk in closet and she gets to use a stand alone bathroom with shower, bath, closet and all the amenities you find in five star hotel.
An unfurnished apartment is at minimum $2000. This give you an idea of what the furnished ones go for. Of course right next door are hotels like the Marriott that cost less if you are staying for a week or less.
They do run the place like any other hotel I have stayed in except this is a home-style residence. Coffee, tea, cereal and fresh fruits are provided in the common room down stairs everyday of the week except for the weekends.
Three computers in the common room for residents, a panel TV on the wall, lounge chairs, dinning tables and chairs and fax. A swimming pool for all residents available at the back.
the residence has its own parking garage, and each home has its own mail box. Phones in each home, all local calls are free, long distance is billed to residents.
Fresh towels and amenities are brought in every Friday, but the resident reserves the right to refuse the cleaning if they are doing it themselves or for privacy sake.
