Avalon House

This hostel is located near Temple Bar area, which is where you want to be if your in Dublin. There is so much to do everynight and so many people to meet.

The Hostel is huge and there is a big sign that says Avalon House. It is very easy to find.

Once inside you have an internet area to your left and further in is a kitchen and lunch area plus a seating area with tv. Down stairs they have a game room where you can watch movies. They do have a selection of movies at the desk so just ask.

They have a security area where you can keep your valuables and it doesn't cost much to keep them in there. If you forgot to bring a towel or hairdryer (etc), you can rent it at the desk.

You can get mixed rooms which are the cheapest or private rooms which are a bit more expensive. The rooms get cleaned everyday by noon. The restrooms are shared.

If you want to take a tour outside of Dublin they can help you sign up for a tour. The front desk is very helpful.

If you are concerned about security after a certain time they lock the doors and only guests can be let it.

Overall, I had the best time in Dublin and met so many people in the hostel. When I go back to Dublin I will definitely stay there again!!
