The best ice cream gelateria in Tulln. Really tasty ice cream using fresh ingredients which you can tell. Doesn't taste artificial like others.
It also serves as a cafe but is known for it's ice cream.
It's tucked away in a passageway - a local's secret :-)

This place is rated in the Lonely Planet as a must see destination and home to the best Wurst/sausages in Austria.
However, forget the book, and make a bypass there yourself while you are strolling through Vienna. It's only a step away from the main strip through the city and while you are munchi...

No trip to Vienna in the summer months should be without a trip to the famous Prater Carnival Grounds.
The Prater is a giant Festival/Carnival that runs all year round and is home to the famous Riesenrad (ferris wheel) from which you get a great view of the city...
There are plenty of cheesy c...

The restaurant Hollmann Salon is run by the same people as the hotel Hollmann Beletage, which is just around the corner. The national dish of Austria is supposedly one called Tafelspitz, and one of the best places to try it is Plachutta in Vienna. This restaurant has ten different varieties of Tafelspitz -- all based on the cut of beef used to make the dish. It was the favorite dish of the Emperor Franz Josef.

Ok, so if you are in Vienna you MUST have a giant Schnitzel.
