The original plans had been to go halibut fishing on Sunday the 6th but between the weather and some other incidential issues, it was not possible to get out and we missed low tide which is the best time to catch halibut. I saw orcas, eagles, Russian churches, and the biggest, bluest, coldest chunk of ice I've ever seen--Mendenhall Glacier! The Alaskan southeast in early spring is not as cold as you might think, spare the occasional flurry. Go!
