With the weather still rubbish it was time to call it a day so I jumped on the bus north to Auckland. Couldn't come all the way to the other side of the world and forget all about Australia's long skinny neighbor.  Had to pop over to NZ for a peek! Auckland here I come!

Too bad that I didn't book it with a travel company. I know I would have covered more of this beautiful country, including the South Island's awesome landscape. In all I had a lot of fun touring Auckland with my wife although we stayed within the downtown area and immediate surroundings. The hospitality of the New Zealanders was spectacular, especially with their cool accent that I often try to imitate from time to time. I cannot wait to return within 2 years. Get ready for Yahooey NZ!

What can i say...I have been given the opportunity to work in such a beautiful country for a few years and already it feels like home!!
