Atlas City Hotel Munich

Atlas City Hotel is the typical hotel for people who only need a shower and a place to sleep. So everything is a bit small and narrow. E.g. the double-room I had booked there hasn't been much larger than the kingsize bed, but admittedly, when I looked at the plan of the builing it seemed to me, as if they had given me the smallest double-room they had. Anyway, I didn't mind, because the price of 195€ for three nights was definitely below Munich average.

As the Atlas City hotel was opened only a few years ago, everything is still, new, clean and in good condition. Therefore the beds aren't worn yet so if you don't like too soft beds, you will be still able to spend a night there without terrible aches on the next morning.

Atlas City also offers a breakfast buffet for € 5,- per Person and day. The buffet itself doesn't offer the world, but it's ok and in my opinion worth the money - definitely better than walking around the city hungrily and looking for an affordable breakfast or just swallowing a pretzel or croissant in a hurry.

The location is quite good. Only a few minutes from the tube-station "Theresienwiese" and only 10 minutes by foot to the main station. I made this way three times in the cold night, completely pooped and hungry - so it can't be that bad :-)
