Great Luxe Resort Mar 25, 2012

* No me gustó — Nadie hablaba español

Nice hotel! Jul 13, 2011
We stayed at paradise island for a week in May. The weather was great and Atlantis is a beautiful resort.

This place has pretty much every thing. My favorite was the water park it is a great place to take kids.

The rooms were average and the beds were ok. I usually dont worry too much about my hotel room because i only sleep there. One thing to consider is that this is not an all inclusive and the food and drinks are very expensive. I think they do offer a meal plan and I really should have taken it because i had a huge bill when i checked out. There is a nice little restaurant just a short walk down the street it is a great place to eat if you want to save a few bucks.

The best part about this hotel is the location and if i came back i would stay here again but i would get the meal plan.

All the towers are great Apr 06, 2011
the Coral Tower on location within Atlantis and price/value. I would definitely do it again. Is is centrally located to the pools, marina, shops and even a mini mall outside the Atlantis complex with a grocery store, souvenirs and a decent restaurant. It was a little far for Dolphin Cove but everything is within walkable distance. Our teenage daughters (and ourselves) had a great time with the waterslides, the dolphin experience and snorkling Atlantis. We stayed away from expensive restaurants but indulged in $10 Bahama Mammas by the pools...

best resort ever. Jan 30, 2011
There is nothing bad to say about the atlantis. Sure its expensive, but it is worth every penny you spend.

Buy the meal plan- it will save you a lot of money. & Try out the Atlantan drink!

Touring Atlantis May 12, 2010
Want to see Atlantis but you don't have hundreds of dollars a night for a hotel room? below.

My Ex Husband is from Nassau so I spent quite a lot of time going back and forth between there and the US. I wanted to take a look around Atlantis before we decided if we wanted to get the 1 day pass for use of all the tours, beaches, slides etc... which are $110 non-residents and $70 for residents.

We took a walk through on our own and its very nice. The architecture is Amazing you can tell almost immediately it was designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and relaxing. They have pretty much anything you could want on the grounds but as usual it will be a bit more cash wise. We paid $10 to valet park and then walk through to see the aquarium and sights. A friend told use you can also see the sharks free of charge but I was so exhausted we didn't even cover half of the grounds. We plan to go back for the day pass which seems to be worth it. If your on a tight budget the $1 toll to get to P.I. Plus the valet parking fee of $10 are worth it. Kids love the aquarium and there are some funny places to pose for pics. If you go out on the 2nd Level Veranda your on the top of the aquarium. just inches below the veranda you can watch as fish and sting rays swim by. The $110 Day Pass also seems like a winner. I will write further review after we have tried this.

Overhyped Resort, but Amazing Location May 10, 2010
I've been to Bahamas 3 times so far and every single time I stayed at Atlantis. The 1st time I stayed in the Coral towers and the rooms are just average. However, the two other times I chose to upgrade and thought that if you pay a lot more the rooms will be a lot better. Well, they were better than the ones at the Coral towers but not worth the money. The advantage of staying at the Royal towers is that everything (casino, shopping, restaurants) is closer.

There was nothing in particular that was mind blowing but I have to mention that they have several pools which might be of interest to some people. I prefer the ocean.

One thing that really stood out was the below average service. Living in the US where people have to work hard for their tips I was a lil taken back by the lack of service given that I was in a resort that is supposed to be upscale. I later found out that tips are included by default so people don't feel the need to really work hard to make good money.

Also, if you're a night owl then you better think ahead of time about late dinner because the options are limited to none after 2 am.

Sorry if this review seems negative; it's because I went there with high expectations. I still think that this resort is worth visiting.

Beach Tower? More like Beach Hovel Apr 14, 2010
Room service was outrageously expensive and equally horrible, not to mention wrong both times we ordered dinner, and both problems were not addressed/corrected.

Room was dingy, shabby and even after it was supposedly "serviced" by housekeeping, we didn't want to walk barefoot in the bathroom...

I wouldn't stay anywhere else Jul 07, 2009
Atlantis is nothing short of - WOW! It caters to everyone - kids, newly-weds, singles. This place has it all. The staff was always really friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. There are multiple casinos, restaurants, shark pools, aquariums....seriously, they have it all. The only thing that I didn't like was having to wear an Atlantis wristband to get onto the beach. However, the beach was really nice and clean and the view was perfect. Again, this place has something for everyone.

Low end stay at Atlantis Sep 29, 2009
The Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island has many different hotels and villas. We stayed at the Coral Towers. I believe it is one of the cheaper places to stay at the resort although some of them were closed because it was "off peak". Still a great hotel with a lot of amenities. Very close to the water taxi to downtown. Attached to the casino. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The view from our room was not the greatest. Although we upgraded to "waterview" we were really overlooking a roof with a big noisy air conditioner.

Just visited the island for a day. The Atlantis hotel was definately amazing, but still I had been expecting more due to all the hype surrounding it. The views from the hotel were amazing, the hotel itself is awesome, like a whole other world. The shops were more on the expensive side, but probably still affordable to most. it's US$35 to just walk around outside by the pools and beaches, and US$99 to actually be able to use the facilities, slides, pools, etc. Great place to visit for the day if you are just passing thru.

Atlantis Resort & Casino - Paradise Island, Bahamas - Beach Tower Feb 24, 2008
We stayed in the Beach Towers at the Atlantis Resort & Casino in Paradise Island, Bahamas which is the cheapest tower on the property. The rates published on the back of the door in the room said the average rate for that room was right under $500 a night, but we had seen a "Winter Special" on their website and got it for a lot less.

We stayed on the 5th floor. The room was nice and clean. We had 2 beds that were really soft and comfortable, a balcony with a great view, and a decent size bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

The waterscape around the property was awesome, but was only open 9am-5pm so outside of that time you could not be in any of the pools or even in the ocean around Atlantis.
