Atlantica Royal Court Hotel Limassol

Stayed here as part of a package holiday in 2006 i believe it has had a much needed refurb since then.

I have to say i really enjoyed this holiday but the rooms were shabby as i said needed updating, not very comfortable bed, in need of a lick of paint and new furniture but i'm not one to care what the room is like i don't spend much time in there.

The actual resort was brilliant pool area fantastic as were the reps who were always there to help. Bar fantastic if you didnt go all inclusive a wristband was available for around 8 euros a day this allowed as much alcohol and ice cream.

Can't comment on the food as i prefer to go self catering i like to try different places. The only time i ate at the hotel was at the pizza express next to the bar at the pool and this was very nice.

Went to see the evening entertainment at the resort one night out of 14 think I was making the most of my wristband before hitting the clubs and bars on the strip. Terrible very much aimed at children, didn't go back, but again was what i expected. I just cracked on with the tequila slammers!!

One tip i can give is get a sunbed early as this is one of the resorts where really rude people get up early put there towels on the sun loungers and go back to bed....some didnt come out till the afternoon (cheeky b*****ds)
