Atlantic Tower Hotel Liverpool

This place is swankier than the Ibis Hotel I stayed at the last time. And from the looks of it, it's obviously more expensive too, though I couldn't really say how much since my trip was paid for.

Liverpool's a small city so anywhere you book yourself shouldn't be an issue in terms of proximity to all the tourist areas. The Thistle Atlantic offers great views of the River Mersey, the Pier Head and St. Nicholas Church which are all right across the street, and is walking distance to Albert Dock and the city center.

The rooms are clean and spacious, and up until my stay in March, (attention all smokers) had a smoking floor. The bathroom was pretty cramped, but it was all sparkly white and that's all that matters.

The hotel staff was rather friendly and take advantage of all the tourist flyers they have at the reception.
