Atlantic City International Airport May 14, 2011
Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) is a small airport located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. It is operated by the South Jersey Transportation Authority. The airport is located minutes away from the Atlantic City Expressway and twelve minutes from downtown Atlantic City as well as many of the casinos.

As of May 2011, only two airlines, Spirit Airlines and AirTran (now Southwest) have regular flights out of the airport.

The airport has one terminal with less than a dozen gates, a bar/restaurant, convenience store and gift shop.

Security is provided by the New Jersey State Police as well as the federal Transportation Security Administration.

Parking, as of May 2011 is $9 for long-term economy.

As of May 2011, there is NO public transportation directly to the airport or nearby (4 Miles to Black Horse Pike). Taxis or a private prearranged transportation is available and would be recommended if one cannot get a ride from a friend/family member or drive.

*** IMPORTANT: Multiple travel websites include information about a shuttle bus from the Pleasantville Bus Terminal operated by SJTA or NJ Transit. This shuttle is no longer in operation (personal correspondence via e-mail to SJTA April 26, 2011). ****
