A Great Gym - Best in Northwestern Ontario Dec 04, 2004
A great gym in North Western Ontario. One of the best chains of companies in Ontario. You are almost like going to a resort to workout.

Here is the lowdown:The Athletic Club, established in September of 1997, has had the pleasure of providing health, wellness and fitness services for tens of thousands of members.

The mission is to offer fun solutions to those embarking on the journey to better health and be relentless with our pursuit of exceptional customer service. Furthermore, we have been able to facilitate our mission with state-of-the-art clubs staffed with knowledgeable and caring fitness professionals. We seek to treat all members with respect and equality through individual attention by anticipating their needs before they have to ask and taking responsibility for all member questions and concerns.

Our vision is one of constant growth and can be best summarized in our motto: “Striving to make our community a healthier place.” Our management team, with decades of combined experience, passionately delivers this message to all the employees and members on a daily basis. By providing our members with direction, empathy, and an enthusiastic attitude, we will make their experience at our club enjoyable as well as successful.

They believe that the services provide the means for one to better their quality of life dramatically. Everyday we witness wonderful people changing their lives in wonderful ways, and it is this amazing display of evolution that epitomizes The Athletic Club. We place the highest emphasis on courtesy, maintaining a positive attitude, establishing rapport, and empathy for all members and guests.

The Athletic Club offers a complimentary series of classes for all fitness levels and athletic abilities, all taught by the highest level, professional instructors. Group exercise classes are super-fun and excellent for weight loss because they generally require a lot of energy and tend to burn lots of calories. We offer classes like Yoga, cycle, Pilates, Latin, jazz and hip hop dance, cardio step, power barbell, military boot camp, Zumba and much more! Classes are offered throughout the early morning and late evening.
