Athens Vacation Guide

Athens is a small town located in the southern Appalachian region of Ohio. It’s home to Ohio University. A river runs through the edge of town and mountains grace the skyline. Outside of the university’s strip, there is one main street through town where most of the shopping is located. Athens is a bike friendly town and a bike trail runs along the river. Athens is approximately a 1 ½ hour drive from Columbus.
