1030am Athens time.  We are here!  Amazing.  We then go to baggage claim hoping that we caught up with our luggage.  It's there!! 

My travel addiction began here. I had never been out of the country before and took a leap when I decided to share a Summer in Greece with some friends I had made off of Myspace. We were 4 girls looking for adventure and had the summer of our lifetime! That summer I explored Athens, Santorini, Crete & Paros. It was amazing and I was never the same again.

I was not a big fan of Greek history and culture until I came here.

I got up this morning at 5:30am.  I slept so well and had packed the night before, so it was pretty easy to make my way to the airport this morning, especially since I only had to walk across the street to get to the airport.  I got checked in at 6:00am, cleared customs and was ready for …

Here are some random pics from Athens during the last few summers. Most tourists avoid Athens and head for the Greek Islands which is a shame. While Athens is busy, overcrowded and grimey it's also fantastic! Every corner you cross is filled with ancient history and one has the feeling that you're in an outdoor museum. It's also a city that never sleeps. I hope to add more historical notes in the future.

today morning i begun with my friend ariana to go for a walk in athens like last sunday... but as we went to gazi we found an exhibition of modern art & we stuck there & wasted most of our day... :))

Lots of back and forth at ticket counters to find a flight out. We are staff, remember, and this is where traveling gets really interesting, albiet CHALLENGING.   Have a lot to write on this too, however, low wiFi svc here where I'm writing.
