While it's not travel it's the only place in the world anymore that I would consider calling home. I was in Athens, GA four years and miss it. So many stories behind each of these pictures.

The Army gives each soldier that comes to Iraq or Afghanistan 15 days off during our 15 month deployments. I spent my time away from Iraq not shaving and just enjoying the small things in life. I was in Atlanta, GA, St. Lucia, and Athens, GA.

Three days after I graduated UGA I hit the road with 600 pounds of stuff in my car and started my adventure in the Army. First stop was Seattle, WA and I took 7 days to drive there. I also took the long way and enjoyed my days alone on the road across the US.

So finally after 4 years I graduated college. It was a sad day because I knew I would be leaving Athens, GA forever a few days later to start my Army career.
