Athens Tour Bus Jul 22, 2007
The public transportation in Athens has a city bus that goes to all of the tourist attractions. It costs 5 euros which is for this hop-on/hop-off bus as well as regular city bus and metro service (excluding airport service). The tickets are available for purchase on the bus. We wished we would have taken this trip day one because the bus gives a narration of all of the sites and is a good opportunity to get an idea of what sites are near each other and better plan your visits. The only thing that disappointed me is that we didn't try it out until our last day!

I got up around 7:30am, took a shower, and headed down to breakfast. We loaded up on the bus and headed to pick up our local guide Effi. I was amazed to see how good of shape it was in after all these years. After all of our tour stops we were dropped off at the Plaka, where we did some shopping and ate some… Day 9
