Athens Pizza and Restaurant

While in Athens recently, I looked for a quality Pakistani restaurant and ended up in Noor Restaurant which proved to be an unforgetable experience, the quality of food and service was outstanding. Although a little expensive compared with other Pakistani / Indian restaurants, I recommend it to all those who plan to visit Athens and are looking for Halal food from subcontinent. Athens Pizza and Restaurant has to be one of my all time favorite restaurants. They serve traditional greek and italian food as well as pizza, salads, and sandwiches. Their food is unbelieveably good! It is a smaller-sized restaurant, and the inside is really nice and clean. They play greek music and the staff is very friendly. The service is a little slow as is in most restaurants in the Stamford area (everyone must be so laid back in this area) so call ahead for take out if you don't have at least an hour.

They are located along US-1 between Greenwich and Stamford near exit 6 of I-95. If you are ever in the Stamford/Greenwich area, you must try Athens - you won't be sorry!
