The reason this is so good is that we are Holiday Inn priority members...they're all in together with Intercontinentals and the service they provide is tops. Because they are seeking new members and were trying to get us to belong to the Ambassador level, they rolled out the red carpet. We were upgraded for another 60 euros which included the club lounge this time with free food and drinks, which would have been a small fortune otherwise.Bigger room, more attention, Club lounge with balcony overlooking Acopolis, patio out there to drink and eat, free internet etc. There were 3 of us, so it was ofcourse worth it. Also had access to spa which was phenomonal. All this still on our budget, because ofcourse we had an airline discount to begin with. It is so worth it to find these deals once you already have your prority gold card, and hotels are hurting a bit right now. I' can't say good enough things about Georgia who was our main connection at the hotel. She also gave us 1 hour of free internet access (very expensive otherwise) and then added about 3 hours onto that. It might be worth it for you to go ahead with the Ambassador membership, but our budget would not allow it this trip.
