At&t Center Reviews

Nov 12, 2007
This impressive entertainment complex rivals the city's beloved Alamodome as a haven for sporting events, concerts and other family fun. The AT&T Center (formerly SBC Center) exudes South Texas culture inside and out. From the tree-lined, park-like plaza entry on Coliseum Road to the festive marketplace atmosphere inside, this place is full of regional flavor. Ample ranch porches, colorful hanging icons and festive lighting contribute to the mood. The AT&T Center is destined to be one of the most user-friendly entertainment complexes in the country. Half of all seats are accessible from street level and the center boasts over 7,000 parking spaces. The design of the 18,500-seat facility follows the trend of putting spectators closer to the action. The padded seats with handy cup-holders and the state of the art video screens may convince you that you're relaxing in the comfort and intimacy of your own living room (with several thousand friends at your side, of course.) Other features include conference rooms, restaurants, a team store and the aptly named Fan Fiesta area where kids can shoot hoops, meet team mascots and play electronic sports trivia games. Early tenants of this spectators' dream site include Spurs' basketball and the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo.
